Procedure-

1) Buy the materials- one bag of scotts potting soil, tomato seeds, bottled water, and three identical plastic pots

2) Plant 6 tomatoes seeds in each pot, 1/2 inch deep spaced evenly

3)Mark each pot with the tape and marker as to which is soft, hard, and Poland Springs water.

4) Water each pot with equal amounts of water one with hard water, one with soft water, and one with Poland spring water. + a pint for each container

5) Put all three in equal sunlight (place right next to each other on a window sill

6) Water every other day with equal amounts of water; if the plants need more water give them all equal amounts!

Analysis- the soft water had the highest plant growth second was Poland Springs and last was the hard water.
