Eating Out Vs. Eating at Home


Eating out is more beneficial than a home cooked meal because it is less time

consuming, all you have to do is pick a restaurant. It is also easier to decide what you

would like to eat; however, eating at home is cheaper, a family could make two meals out

of twenty dollars. Eating at home is also healthier than fast food dining because you are

not eating as many fried foods.

One night my family and I decided to eat at Burger King and we already knew

what we were going to order. I chose a Whopper, large french fries, and a soda. The food

was ready in only five minutes. After we were finished, I did not have to worry about

washing dishes, all we had to do was throw away our trash and we were out of the door. It

was that simple.

However, the only thing that was not thanking me was my wallet. Eating out sure

is expensive. I paid $15.72 for three people to eat.

Forget about maintaining a diet, too. The Whopper has 35 grams of fat. I will not

mention the fat content of french fries since they are fried in grease. Perhaps I will start

on that diet again tomorrow.
