While the free essays can give you inspiration for writing, they cannot be used 'as is' because they will not meet your assignment's requirements. If you are in a time crunch, then you need a custom written term paper on your subject (nuclear fusion vs nuclear fission)
Here you can hire an independent writer/researcher to custom write you an authentic essay to your specifications that will pass any plagiarism test (e.g. Turnitin). Waste no more time!

Fusion vs. Fission Nuclear Fusion and Nuclear Fission are two very strong sources for producing energy, yet even though they have many similarities, both have even more differences between them. Nuclear Fission occurs during the splitting of an atomic nucleus into fragments of about the same mass, this results in a large amount of energy released. Unlike Fission (which splits atoms to create energy), Nuclear Fusion occurs when 2 or more light nuclei combine to form a single nucleus. In these two reactions, you will notice the advantages and disadvantages between the two of them. A nuclear fission reactor works much like that of a conventional coal fired plant. Although instead of using coal to heat the water to steam, thereby generating electricity, fission reactors use Uranium-235 to heat the water. Control rods are then used to regulate the radiation emitted by the U-235 to keep the reaction under control. A number of environmental problems have arisen from using nuclear reactors. Their fission products are highly radioactive and cannot be discarded easily. To protect us from this radioactive waste is to store them for a long time and try to recycle some of the nuclides by using them in new fuel rods. The remaining waste has to be combined with molten glass and then buried. Hopefully in the future they will come up with more efficient ways of using radioactive wastes, and then we can have more fission plants in the world. Another hazard to our environment is caused by the excess hot water left over from the reaction. Returning this extremely hot water into the lakes and streams could kill all the marine life, also known as thermal polluting. Unlike the fission reactor, fusion reactors...
